pick changes the cost and the stack height, and the stack height changes whether your sights still co-witness.
Screw length check
Nobody can tell you a screw length from a catalogue — it depends on your exact
stack. Measure two things with calipers and this will give you the safe range for
your thread.

Footprint reference
A footprint is the screw-and-lug pattern on the underside of the optic. A slide either has that pattern milled into it, or it has a generic pocket and an adapter plate supplies the pattern. Diagrams below are schematic — top-down, optic front at the top — and are not to scale.
Before you torque anything
Screw length is the failure mode nobody catches: a screw that is too long bottoms out on the slide or intrudes into the striker channel, and one that is too short strips under recoil. Test-fit dry, count threads, and use the screws that shipped with your optic or plate rather than whatever is in the parts bin. Blue (removable) threadlocker only — never red — and let it cure before firing. Adding an adapter plate raises the optic, which can drop suppressor-height irons out of the window.
