What happens to a correction

Nothing changes without a source. A wrong entry here can mean a too-long screw in a striker channel. A report backed by a manufacturer page, a manual or a plate maker's fitment chart gets checked and added. One without a source goes on the watchlist, and the entry gets a verify flag until someone confirms it.

First-hand data counts. If you own the pistol and measured something while mounting it (a plate's deck height, the screw length that worked, a thread you checked with a gauge), say so. That data can't be looked up anywhere.

Three things the data won't include: factory sight heights per SKU (they vary by production run), exact prices (bands only, since figures go stale fast), and screw lengths (they depend on your exact stack). A correction along those lines gets a reply asking for something the data can use instead.

What this can't help with

We can't tell you whether a modification is legal where you live, diagnose a firearm that isn't working, or confirm a fitment that isn't in the data (if it were confirmed, it would be). For work past your competence, see a qualified gunsmith.
