This is a reference, not an authority. Optic Mounting compiles optic fitment information from manufacturer documentation and plate-maker fitment charts. Footprints, plate numbering and slide cuts change between generations and production runs carrying the same model name. Always confirm against the current manuals from your pistol maker, your optic maker and your plate maker before buying or installing anything.
Entries can be wrong or incomplete. Where published information is thin or sources disagree, the entry is flagged for verification rather than guessed at — but an unflagged entry is not a guarantee either. Prices are approximate street-price bands for comparing routes, not quotes.
Mounting an optic is gunsmithing. Confirm the firearm is unloaded before any work on the slide. Work within your own competence and use a qualified gunsmith when a job is past it. Screw length in particular depends on your exact plate and optic stack: a screw that is too long can bottom out on the slide or intrude into the striker channel. This site deliberately does not publish screw lengths as data.

The one thing stored in your browser is a short list of any setups you choose to save in the fit checker, kept in your browser's own local storage on your own device. It never leaves your browser, is never sent anywhere, and clearing your site data removes it.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers see the request for the font files. The site is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs.
