How this slide mounts an opticNo optic cut. A mount replaces the rear sight and carries the optic above it, so the optic sits high, the factory irons are gone, and the mount becomes the weak point. Short of milling, it's the only route. A mount costs more than a plate because it's a whole machined part; the Trijicon and Outerimpact mounts sit at the top of the price band.
On this modelThe non-Nocturne P-07 and P-09 have no optic cut — a rear-sight dovetail mount is the route.
