Same slide cutThe Staccato P, Staccato XC and Staccato XL share this slide's optic cut
(Staccato / 2011 optic plate system), so the optics, plates and screws below are the same for
all of them. What differs between the models is under "On this model", where there is anything.
How this slide mounts an opticOptic-ready Staccato slides take Dawson Precision's DPO plates, one for each optic: the plate replaces the slide's cover plate and carries the rear sight, so it also sets the iron-sight height. Staccato says the system is proprietary (other makers' plates do not fit), names the optics it supports, and will not modify a plate for one it does not name, so each plate below is limited to the optics its maker lists. Staccato's kit listings give 25 in-lb for the kit and do not say whether that is the plate screws or the optic screws; neither maker gives a thread, so the thread is not on file. Staccato's kits are for its V2 and V3 pistols, not the HD series. Its XC and XL pages say optic-specific mounting plates are included with the Tactical Optic system but not whether one comes in the pistol's box, so no plate is counted as in the box. On this modelStaccato's kit listings are for the optic-ready slide; its ROMEOZero / JPoint / Shield kit is listed for the CS and C2 only, with carry-height sights.

Adapter plates for the Staccato C2
| Plate | Gives you | Source | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Staccato → Trijicon RMR / RMR HD / SRODawson's DPO-ECO tactical plate, one piece with a non-adjustable rear sight; Staccato sells it as a mounting kit with screws. It takes the tactical-height front sight. | Trijicon RMR | Dawson Precision ↗ | $60–95 |
| Staccato → Holosun 507C / 508T / 507COMPA separate Dawson plate from the Trijicon one; Staccato's kit lists the 507C, 508T and 507Comp only. | Trijicon RMR | Dawson Precision ↗ | $60–95 |
| Staccato → Leupold DeltaPoint ProDawson's DPO tactical adapter with a fixed co-witness rear sight, made for the DeltaPoint Pro only. | Leupold DeltaPoint Pro | Dawson Precision ↗ | $25–60 |
| Staccato → ROMEOZero / JPoint / Shield RMScDawson's DPO Carry plate; it needs the carry-height front sight and does not fit the ROMEOZero-PRO or a ROMEOZero with the steel shroud. Staccato's kit listing says it is only for the CS and C2 with carry-height sights; Dawson lists it for DPO pistols with a carry-height front sight. | Shield RMSc | Dawson Precision ↗ | $60–95 |
| Staccato → Aimpoint ACRO P-1 / P-2Dawson's DPO-ECO tactical plate for the ACRO P-1 and P-2; the optic clamps to the plate. Dawson does not name the ACRO C-2. | Aimpoint ACRO | Dawson Precision ↗ | $60–95 |
| Staccato → Steiner MPSA separate Dawson DPO tactical plate for the Steiner MPS. Staccato's store lists no kit for it, so no torque is on file. | Aimpoint ACRO | Dawson Precision ↗ | $60–95 |
| Staccato → Holosun 507KDawson's DPO-ECO Carry plate; it needs the carry-height front sight. Staccato's store lists no kit for it now, so no torque is on file. | Holosun K | Dawson Precision ↗ | $60–95 |
| Staccato → Holosun EPS / EPS Carry / SCS CarryA separate Dawson DPO-ECO Carry plate from the 507K one; it needs the carry-height front sight. Staccato's store lists no kit for it now, so no torque is on file. | Holosun K | Dawson Precision ↗ | $60–95 |
| Staccato → Holosun 509TDawson's DPO-ECO tactical plate; it does not fit the 509T ACSS Vulcan. | Holosun 509T | Dawson Precision ↗ | $60–95 |
| Staccato → Trijicon RMRccDawson's DPO-ECO tactical plate, made for the RMRcc. | Trijicon RMRcc | Dawson Precision ↗ | $60–95 |
| Staccato → Vortex Defender-CCWDawson's DPO-ECO Carry plate; it needs the carry-height front sight and does not fit the Defender-CCW Enclosed Solar. Staccato's store lists no kit for it, so no torque is on file. | Shield RMSc | Dawson Precision ↗ | $60–95 |
